Sending messages to new LinkedIn connections: a needless drag and a small smart example

Sender: Hey
Me: Hey
Sender: What do you do?
Me: Check out my profile please. You'll find what you're asking for.
Sender: Impressive. So where are you.
Me: Emm, I won't take further questions unless you tell me what this is about and why I should spare my time
Sender: Do you know about XYZ product:
Me: Nope. I'm not a fan of the XYZ things though.
Sender: [ Doesn't understand or decided to ignore my last reply. And continued to make an unsuccessful case for the said XYZ product]
Me: Look, "Not a fan though"= Not interested in the XYZ thing. If you truly want to help me, as you said, come up with a proposal related to---------. Are you up for it?
Sender: [ Disappears]
Comment: People, one can practically find anything just by taking a careful and inquisitive look through the profile of a real person on LinkedIn.
Mine is rated 5 star by LinkedIn, meaning that all the sections are completed upto the smallest relevant details.
Anyone who prefers not to research about prospects, but chooses to go dancing naked on the street, should not blame people when they don't respond to messages that are clearly baseless and a waste of time.
Here's another message from a new connection
"Hello M. --------
"It's nice connecting with you on LinkedIn "I am a data analysts/ scientists with skill in R, python, tableau, I love drawing insight from data.
