One Way To Build Your Brand And Get That Dream Job In January, 2021

Nothing, in career,  is as important as having the job you love, doing the job you love and growing in your career.

On one way to make this to happen starting from January 2021?

Do This: 

• Organise your job hunting using spreadsheet or Google Docs so that you have in one place sources to consult for your job search, organisations you've applied to and follow-up made, as well as who to contact, whom you have contacted, feedbacks received, pending applications and applications you need to send, etc. This will keep your efforts organised, productive and sustainable.
• Perfect the CV and cover letter you use for each job application, making sure that the CV and cover letter are tailored to the role you're applying to.
• Build good relationships. The benefits may not start coming immediately. Building good professional connections take time. But the long term benefits are huge and worth the effort. Starting a mutually beneficial conversation with one person each day and making follow-up will help.
• Use cold mailing. In doing that craft a catchy mail that  introduces you, that talks about skills, that discusses the role you want and your suitability.  Using measurable achievements here will make sense. reference and attach your Resume. Thank the reader and sign off. Like This:

Dear [ Name of Recruiter],

My name is [YOUR NAME] and I found your information on [HOW YOU FOUND THE INFORMATION, E.g, LinkedIn]. I am currently seeking a new opportunity to sharpen my skills and gain experience in [SKILL] and [SKILL]. At the moment, I work for [NAME OF THE COMPANY YOU WORK IN] as a [ YOUR POSITION]. I am interested in applying for the open position of [STATE THE POSITION] at your company.

I've worked in these [ LIST ] projects, I'm  Skilled in [ STATE YOUR KEY SKILLS], and I'm currently learning [STATE CORSES, IF ANY, THAT YOU'RE TAKING]. And I'd love to discuss the opportunity over [PHONE, COFFEE, EMAIL, ETC.]. 

Attached is a copy of my Resume.  Please let me know when you are available to discuss this position further. I am willing to work around your schedule.
