To do so, research the company thoroughly, noting what they are working on , with special focus on the department you are aiming at. State your reason for wanting to join the organisation and what you seek to do for the company in your cold mail and  attach your resume.
  11. Research the companies you applied to and prepare for interviews: Prepare for interview. To be organised and consistent in doing this, set aside some 30-60 minutes each day for interview preparation. Then research at least one interview question and the various ways to smartly respond to it. Formulate your own response and practice. Practice. Practice. Yes. Practice your response in your room by saying the response to yourself. Note what doesn't add up, review your response accordingly and restart your practice until you're satisfied that you have crafted  a solid, straight to the point response to that interview question.
